Adele Says: Don't Settle for Pain!
Personal Statement from Adele Cox, MA, CMT
When I chose to specialize my practice in physical and emotional healing and transformation, it was first imperative
that I deeply explore my own wounding and maladaptive habits in order to best serve and understand my clients. I used
a variety of holistic health practices including psychotherapy, transformational personal life coaching, meditation,
and various forms of transformational bodywork such as Reiki, Rosen, Ortho-Bionomy�, and The Feldenkrais Method�.
Although I experienced incredible shifts through these individual practices, eventually I realized that I needed a unified
system that addressed all aspects of my Self simultaneously. I needed my body, mind, spirit, emotions, and energy to be
aligned in the healing process; and I needed my past, present, and future to be integrated in the growth process. Working
from this perspective allowed me to create deep, integrated, and transformative experiences for my Self that I continue to
this day.
In creating my practice, I knew that there are others who yearn for a similar type of integrated healing and growth process
for themselves, and I launched Youniversoul with those tenets as its foundation. I believe I have created a union between
a variety of therapies that can help you learn about and experience healing throughout your integrated Self.
My Counseling background helps you find insight and understanding about your past while ensuring that your emotional safety
and mental awareness are paramount. My Bodywork experience, energetic attunement, and coaching skills help you discover how
unresolved pain and emotions are manifesting in your present. The result is resolution from the past, improved functioning
in the present, and continued personal growth into the future. I look forward to joining and witnessing your transformation
process!
